7th Grade UN Trip

Gregory Psaki ‘30, Jack O’Hara ‘30 | April 25, 2025

On April 25, 2025, the Brunswick 7th grade survived 2 hours in a bus to travel to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, New York. This trip was the culmination of the 7th graders’ history papers and science projects based on the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and was part of a joint partnership between Brunswick and Sacred Heart. The 7th graders were lucky enough to go inside of the Trusteeship Council, the Economic and Social Council, and the General Assembly. The Security Council was in session during their visit, discussing issues in Syria, so the students were not able to visit that room. The experience was amazing and it was so cool to see all the art and interesting things and knowledge we learned and saw. This is definitely a trip to look forward to. Thank you to Brunswick and the 7th grade teachers for making this possible!
