Will Tortorella ’29, John O’Hara ’30, Gregory Psaki ’30 | April 04, 2025

This year’s spring play with Sacred Heart was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Led by Walker Jensen as Charlie and Will Tortorella as Willy Wonka, the cast has been putting in hours of work every night since the end of January. The directors of the show, Mr. Stamey from Brunswick and Mrs. Distinti are putting together a hilarious show. From the disappearance of Augustus Gloop to the shrinking of Mike Teavee, the creativity of the cast and crew have created one of the most memorable shows in Brunswick MS history. Señora Paternina exclaimed, “It was amazing! I was in shock at how well all of you performed and your acting. I’m in awe of how amazing the presentation of characters was and how well the lines were memorized.” Mr. Neff said, “I thought it was incredible how well the cast brought one of my favorite stories to life in the best way possible.” The cast had an awesome time bringing the beloved characters of this classic children’s tale to the stage for a performance that was pure imagination.
