FIRST Lego Robotics

The SUBMERGED Lego Robotics season is underway! Unique Wrench (the UMS team) meets Wednesdays after school. Ryan Walsh, Yorman Veliz, Ben Sweet, George Alexopoulos, Danny Follansbee, Angel Veliz, Jackson Kronewitter, Ethan Raben, Evan Lanson, Wes Rebbechi, were all members of Unique Wrench team. The faculty advisors are Mr. Dawson, and Mr. Currie for the UMS team and Ms. Taylor for the LMS teams.

First, let’s recap what happened in the regional competition. Two of the three Brunswick teams got eliminated, but Unique Wrench, the Upper Middle school robotics team won the award for the best project. The winning project was Lucid Tide, a red tide filtration system created by Ethan Raben. The States competition will be held at Glastonbury, and regionals were held at Meriden. The state competition took place on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Thank you to all of Unique Wrench team and all the lego robotics team members!
