Community Service

The Don Bosco Foundation aims to break the poverty cycle through food security, education, shelter, and basic needs by serving its community around its church. They are in a partnership with God to create a better world where there is less poverty. They have many programs to decrease poverty including the Feeds Program, the Scholar Access Program, and the Early Childhood Bilingual Education Program.

We support their Feeds Program by giving Thanksgiving dinners to different families who don’t have the money to afford it. Brunswick School donated over $1260 which was enough to buy 40 turkeys for the Don Bosco families! We also participated by giving families clothes, toys,  and money for the holidays. This is a hard time of year for many who cannot afford to buy presents for those loved ones. We are very fortunate at Brunswick which gives us the opportunity to give back to the community.
